Bandet er hovedsakelig påvirket av amerikansk thrash metal fra ’85-’89 og old-school death metal fra ’89-’92. Bandet er satt sammen av folk med erfaring fra Sexy Police, Manifest, Bethzaida, Antidepressive Delivery, Atrox, Pica Fierce og Griffin. Debutskiva "Fairytale of Perversion" ble sluppet fredag 13. mai, den har høstet gode kritikker over hele linja og bandet feiret plateslippet med slippfest samme dag foran et utsolgt Fru Lundgreen i Trondheim. HOVEFESTIVALEN har i løpet av sine første 5 år blitt en av de største og mest populære sommerfestivalene i Norge. Dårlig vær, lite folk og dårlig økonomi til tross, festivalen består og fremstår nå som en styrket festival med mange store navn i line upen. Hove har normalt et hovedfokus på rock, metal og hip hop, men for metalfolket er det ikke mye å rope hurra for i år. THE STROKES, LINKIN PARK, KAIZERS ORCHESTRA og THE MARS VOLTA er de største navnene dette femte året.
