CHAPTER OF HATE – Chapter of Hate

Chapter of Hate sounds like metalcore mixed with a dash of Pantera. It is all well executed, albeit quite repetitive at times. The album is released by the band themselves and this shines through very much. The production is nothing more than a good demo recording. It sounds like they have recorded right of the amp sound at their rehearsal location. It is too bad, because the band is not without potential. Still, even if this is self released, they can’t get any preferential treatment. This just isn’t well enough produced to be a product for commercial sale. Get a label behind them, and they could easily raise their grade a point or two.
