SPLIT HEAVEN – Death Rider

Heavy/speed metal act Split Heaven wisely switched out singers for their fourth full-length "Death Rider" – as Mexico’s premiere band in this style chose to obtain Skelator’s Jason Conde-Houston for vocal duties and he brings a stronger, more convincing range to these songs. Whether it’s the mid-tempo, traditional "Awaken the Tyrant" or the more Maiden-esque "Speed of the Hawk", these 10 songs will delight the denim, leather, and bullet belt brigade.
Expect a lot of galloping rhythms and hooks larger than life – as well as very primitive production that embodies their 80’s-oriented philosophy. Accept, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, early Running Wild, and Omen are probably on heavy rotation in the Split Heaven record collections, and as such "Death Rider" crushes because of this take no prisoners, steel-minded execution.
