AUNT MARY – New Dawn

Bluesy hard rock with a little bit of a funky flavor, Norwegian act Aunt Mary create a sound that lives for the 70’s but somehow has more of a modern production on their latest record "New Dawn". Everything from Bad Company and Deep Purple to a little Jethro Tull, Eric Clapton and the Black Crowes comes into the forefront when checking out the guitar hooks, melodies, and catchiness within "Unconditional Love", "I Was Born to Ride on the Wrong Side" and the easy swinging "Been There, Done That".
A lot of the talent comes through on the instrumental "G Flat Road" in terms of fluid guitar breaks as well as some slide play as the rhythm section just locks into a classic rock groove. Great material especially for the over-40 audience.
