WIZARD – Trail Of Death

Active for 24 plus years, German epic power metal band Wizard has often been compared to fellow domestic band Grave Digger and veterans Manowar. On their tenth studio album "Trail of Death", the band decide to stray away from fantasy, warrior, and war lyrics and tackle various themes relating to death from a serious point of view and occasionally humorous. Musically the band serves up variety in terms of tempos and arrangements- heavier fare like "War Butcher", more Judas Priest-like guitar tracks such as "Angel of Death", a power number with commercial keyboard-tinges in "One for All" as well as a closing epic march-track that professes affinity for the genre in "We Won’t Die for Metal".
A logical continuation of their previous discography, I think at this point you know what you are going to get from Wizard. If you live for bullet belts, studded wrist bands, and tons of leather- this band is for you. Gather your best dual guitar synchronized moves and multi-level metal vocals and head bang away!
