JOEL GRIND – The Yellowgoat Sessions

Joel Grind, the mastermind behind Toxic Holocaust had some spare time and recorded 10 tracks (inc intro/outro) of pure evil old school nostaliga. This is a tribute to Bathory and all that mattered 30 years ago. This is how metal sounded and what was considered extreme. "The Yellowgoat Sessions" is a travel back in time before metal went fancy and overproduced it self to be dollar slick for the masses.
The album title refers to Bathorys´ debut who back in the day first was pressed with an yellow goat on the album sleeve. The titel gives no doubt where the inspiration and sound comes from and those who worship old Bathory will bow down in ave to this 24 minutes of simple, but effective raw black/speed metal output.
A real surprise release that came out of nowhere but it will for sure have it´s impact on similar artists take on keeping the old vibe alive.
