SAILLE – Irreversible Decay

I wouldn’t really call me a fan of any band, but I like Keep Of Kalessin, Carach Angren and Tartaros quite a lot. So far, so good… But claiming that I will love the debut of Saille, being that it is majestic and threatening black metal is exceeding the expectations. And no, this is not on par with Limbonic Art either. Come to think of it, I gave the two Carach Angren albums 6 out of 6, so you definitely know where I’m heading with my chosen words. Saille is not up there. In fact, I’d claim that this is more like an average attempt to pay tribute to the band’s heroes.
There are good ideas but too much of "Irreversible Decay" is safely put in the ‘heard it all before’-box. Still, this is a debut. Then again, so was "Lammendam"…
