DEFILED – In Crisis

There’s been seven years since Defiled released their last album ”Divination”, and they haven’t changed much. The production is better this time, but I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not. The production is still not good, and with such technical death metal as Defiled are doing it either needs a crystal clear clinical production or an analog old school Florida death metal sound to work. This production is somewhere in between and doesn’t do the band any favors. Other than the somewhat flawed production the music is intense, technical and well executed. Defiled is probably the most brutal band to ever come from Japan.  If you are fan of their earlier stuff you should like this as well.
