LIVARKAHIL – Wrath of God EP

The Paris, France death metal group Livarkahil are making this five song EP “Wrath Of God” available as a free download or as a USB drive with exclusive content in terms of video, tutorials, tablature, etc. for a nominal fee. As such, songs like “Through Hatred And Devotion” and the 7 minute plus closing title track display a style very Swedish based, with caustic vocals and slightly noisy in more of a Hypocrisy realm. Sometimes the Skvm blast beats struggle in terms of potency, but there is beauty in human limitation versus always knowing everything you hear has been sampled or Pro-tooled to death.

Decent, nothing earth-shattering, but solid in its extreme death construction- Livarkahil get the job done.
