Introduce your band, and describe your latest release:
Well Rabid Hood is a brand new melodious Hard Rock band from Vestland/Norway. The band has extensive experience in the Metal and Rock n Roll stage with members from Helheim, ex-Taake, Trelldom, Nattverd, Aventyr and Spitfire++. Well our latest release EP spiteful is hard hitting melodious hard rock with the influence of heavy metal I think spiteful is the song we are most proud of , leadgitar Noralf’s solo is truly a masterpiece, the hard-hitting drummer with a touch of metal, hard rock and rock at the same time, rhythm guitar and bass which creates a solid foundation for success and a vocalist who tops it all., The production and performance of the songs we are really proud of, the lyrics is about people who need but do not get what they want and has inspiration from reality i think many will recognize themselves there and being in that atmosphere.

What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?
Lots of hard work but being discovered is probably the hardest part.

When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?
We have been doing this for many years but in 2008 we got professional when we were contacted by a big name in the industry.

Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?
Hard hitting, controlled sort of insanity, melodious hard rock that makes you feel great, the reverb guitar solos, a lot of workand we are proud of it.

How does a song typically come together for you?
Aven writes the songs on guitar, and Olsen make lyrics and melody to it and then comes the bassist and lead guitar. It`s about what ever comes first in our minds and it works very well and again it has a lot to do with what lies in the subconscious.

How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader?
Rough melodic hard rock that makes you feel on top of the world.

What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?
That they feel great and want to listen again.

Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why?
I think the US great potential over there to work with our music in all kinds of ways.

How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?
We have definitely become more professional over the years more than we like to think but that`s a god thing and not overdo it.

How excited are you for 2022, and what can fans expect from you?
We have big ambitions to get out there and play our music in front of live audience as much as we can and we have a lot of music ready to be recorded for a hole album, so there is a lot of work ahead. We want to try to make Rabid Hood a hard hitting hard rock band that people notices and talks about, and I hope we will achieve that in this crazy music world we live in LoL. And that is our modest goal.
