Noisy, raucous and intent to maim all who dare challenge their conviction, Death Wolf arise out of the embers of Devils Whorehouse. Formed by Marduk bassist Morgan, this Swedish quartet produce quite the music cocktail of horror rock, doom and slight twinges of Smashing Pumpkins in this 12 song platter. Witness “Morning Czar Shineth” and partake in its Danzig meets Alice In Chains drudgery. Feel the pain and fire within “Sword And Flame” as vocalist Maelstrom shrieks and freaks out the cobwebs that hold back the recesses of your mind. Revel in the classic Bill Ward-like drum moves for “Unto Dying Eyes”.
Death Wolf aren’t ever going to be mistaken for chart placing pristine polished rock n roll – this is the stuff that people who seek life on the edge or enjoying haunting themes claim to be the first on the block to thrust on friends radar screens.
