CROBOT – Welcome to Fat City

Dirty, groovy retro-hard rock may be a wieldy description for Pennsylvania’s Crobot, but they are indeed from another time period on this full-length "Welcome to Fat City". Deep swinging riffs, awe-inspiring bluesy vocals, and solid bass/drum interplay creates a bevy of memorable tunes, much like you expect from Led Zeppelin, Kyuss, and Clutch. Hard to not be impressed time and again when whirling "Blood on the Snow", the Sabbath-esque swing for "Not for Sale", or jam-fest funky title cut – it’s easy to hear why they’ve made quite an impression on the scene.
Submit to the soothing sounds, Crobot aim to lift spirits and bodies through their addictive songwriting and performances, and as such "Welcome to Fat City" achieves maximum sonic excitement for people who love in your face 70’s-oriented hard, bluesy rock ‘n’ roll.
