Rodrigo Pagavino Releases ‘Velomorph’, His New 14-String Guitar Album, today October 22nd
“Velomorph” is a musical journey through different sonic landscapes, exploring the possibilities of the 14-string guitar and combining progressive rock/metal, fusion, electronic music, experimental elements, and melodies influenced by jazz, pop, and Venezuelan music.
Alternating between melodic, atmospheric passages and moments of great technical complexity, the album highlights the expressive possibilities of an unconventional instrument, with an identity shaped by precision, versatility, and the pursuit of new sounds.
The album features eight tracks, including the previously released singles “Skyscraper”, “Sunset”, “Velomorph”, and “Alma Llanera”.
Recorded with a selection of guest musicians and produced by Rodrigo Pagavino, “Velomorph” represents a new chapter in his artistic development, bringing together a wide range of influences in a project that seeks to push beyond the traditional boundaries of instrumental guitar music.
