Second album from this Swedish thrash trio Warfect- and on "Exoneration Denied" they display a speedy, no holds barred brand of aggression within these 10 tracks. Kreator, Sodom, Slayer are three bands prominent in the riff and vocal development for this act- generating plenty of parts sure to appease those into heads down picking, all out up beat tempos, and caustic, razor sharp vocals.
"Drone Wars" and "The Prince" feature a bevy of riffs and lead breaks that should make you break out in a deep sweat, the energy pouring from the speakers. Guitarist Fredrik Wester also doubles up on vocals- and he has a Germanic straightforward growl that means business. Nothing technically savvy about "Exoneration Denied"- the three piece aim squarely on simplified structures packed with thrash riffs on the money, designated for maximum crowd participation- be it slow and churning like "Nation Divided" or blitzkrieg and neck breaking like "Filled with Hate".
Decent if not predictable, Warfect is ideal if you love the speedy Germanic thrash template.
