Holy Accept worship Batman! Germany’s Evenstorm are a four piece who excite with a flurry of double guitar harmonies throughout this 10 song album but vocally are basic in normal melodies but when hitting the screams come straight out of the Udo D. meets Dan McCafferty screech school. Founded in 1985, it appears that songs like “Marushka” and “Hot And Wild” haven’t really seen much progression beyond their early formative years – the drumming and riff changes are quite stiff and stilted, and the main parts aren’t going to really invite massive crowd participation when Evenstorm perform live.
Might appeal to the biker crowd, bored me to tears.
