TOMMI PERRAKOSKI – interview

Introduce your band, and describe your latest release:

My solo project is more personal Songs than my Bands Magnadur, Morbid Children and Houruva’s music it goes under my own name and it is Melodic deathmetal and my latest release from my soloproject is ”Jackal” song+music video that is inspired from the Tv-series ”The Day of the Jackal”

What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?

I think you make it hard only if you have wrong mentality, making music should be fun and enjoyfull, it doesn’t really matter how many people listens you, only thing that matters is you can make your stories and art out there and they come from your heart!

When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?

Last year all started to come together and after doing all for music 24/7 and believing your self all the time no matter what, the hard work pays off!

Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?

Jackal is amazing beautiful Story that has true elements of beautiful melodies mixed with brutal vocals and Hard riffs and Drums as all my songs, I think all metalheads should hear this one!

How does a song typically come together for you?

It can start from idea that comes to my mind no matter what time or place and then i start to investigate the subject and write lyrics then do the vocal parts and mix guitars and drums and All other elements to as a song and then do the mastering also myself on my home studio. I do even 1-8 songs almost every week!

How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader?

It’s a different as it has a lot genre mixing elements and beautiful parts and violins and pianos but still it always has Brutal stuff also!!

What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?

Don’t take nothing away 😉 I hope that all my bands and projects are interesting to Metalheads and other people also!(Magnadur,Houruva and Moebid Children+my soloproject)

Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why?

In Asia and USA!

How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?

The vocals has gone to different level and also harder drums and the mastering has also develop a lot but the main thing is the vocals development( practicing 5-7 times per week them)

How excited are you for 2025, and what can fans expect from you?
