The overall theme revolves around the notion of failing in every sense of the cursed word, and whereas the track “Ruin” is as raw and lo-fi as they come and akin to a twisted take on blackened doom metal, the ambient suite “Descending Again” is a contemplative yet minimalist piece that may (or may not) offer a subtle sense of solace and a vague glimmer of hope. How strange the world has become of late.
