Cape Town’s Ethyl Ether reveal psychedelic video for Voodo
Drawing from a deep well of musical inspiration that blends blues, psychedelia and rock n roll, South African heavy rockers Ethyl Ether have released a video for their latest single Voodoo. The track is taken from the bands well received 2020 release Chrome Neon Jesus, which saw key media like the US’s Doomed & Stoned calling the album " a nice, long, satisfying trip" and the UK ‘s Distorted Sound Magazine saying " Chrome Neon Jesus is an album that is worthy of a world beating rock band" in their 9/10 review.
"Voodoo is a psychedelic trip that takes you back to the good ol’days of rock n roll. No frills, no fancy, just a song to lose your shit to. And then play it all over again." Comments Pabs (bass/vocals)

If you dig classic garage rock with psycho-pop tendencies, singable choruses, and heavy metal accents, Chrome Neon Jesus is definitely your ticket to a nice, long, satisfying trip. – Doomed & Stoned
Chrome Neon Jesus is an album that is worthy of a world beating rock band, proving to be a catchy and intriguing tour de force from start to finish, with the final three offerings on the album elevating this album from being great to being fantastic – Distorted Sound Magazine
Chrome Neon Jesus is a pretty fucking decent blend of heavy rock’n’roll with chunky guitars to match and some tripped-out melodies and sounds. – Desert Highways
