NECROPHAGIA – WhiteWorm Cathedral

Necrophagia, the pioneérs of horror metal is back with their 7th full-lenght since the debut back in 1987 (I´am not counting all the ep`s and splits, couse there are a lot!). The US horror outfit got formed back in 1983 and can be for sure credited for being a major part of the early US death metal scene. Big chief and only constant member Killjoy rules this genre with his 100% evil harsh vokill and on " WhiteWorm Cathedral" he does not seem to let down. The album is propped with good old crunchy death metal. No overdone technicality or fancy stuff, just pure relentless death metal with a ton of atmosphere.

The lyrics are all about evil (in one way,form or another) and what else to sing about really? Killjoy delivers on all accounts again and combined with a crisp clear sound and some "scary" samples, "WhiteWorm Cathedral" is a must get for every genuine death metal fanatic. This is timeless music.
