Savage blackened thrash from Australia here on this second album from the Assaulter duo. Former Destroyer 666 member S. Berserker on bass, guitars and vocals plus ex-Razor of Occam drummer Peter Hunt give us 8 songs in the early Kreator/ Razor mold with sandpaper Mille vocals and black/Middle Eastern influences from time to time. Songs like “Slave To King” and “Exalt The Master” showcase their mystical harmonics under conventional tempos while “Outshine” and “Into Submission” go full throttle in their take no prisoners attack.
“Boundless” will gain biggest favor with the diehard old school crowd. Primal comes to mind whenever Assaulter hits my eardrums.
