"Defoulment of Human Purity" is the debut full-length from Norway’s Hideous Deformity. As you’ve probably guessed from the name and album title, this is brutal technical death metal.
The musicianship is good, as is the production and presentation. Unfortunately, though, there is very little to recommend this band beyond that. The songs are predictable, the atmosphere is thin and although you might get some enjoyment out of this CD, it would pretty soon end up on the bottom of your playlist. Sad to say, but true.
