OVERWHELM – new album out

OVERWHELM Release New Album “The Bad Blood of Humankind”

Italian old school thrash metal band OVERWHELM, from Sestri Levante, Genoa, have released their new album The Bad Blood of Humankind independently on September 20, 2026.

The nine-track album delivers a raw and aggressive thrash metal attack, built around fast riffs, heavy rhythms, sudden slowdowns and shifts in tempo and song structure, creating a dark and dynamic atmosphere.

Founded by vocalist and guitarist Roberto Belli in 2011, OVERWHELM currently feature Luca “Low” Scovazzi on bass and Francesco Vaccarezza on drums.

The album explores different dark aspects and themes, from the troubled side of contemporary humanity in the title track to more personal and historical subjects. Cove of Saracens, for example, draws on the history and legends of the Ligurian coast and the Saracen raids that once threatened the territories of the Republic of Genoa.

The Bad Blood of Humankind is available on the major digital platforms.
