Rouge Marlowe Opens a Dark New Chapter with One White Page
Rouge Marlowe is an anonymous independent music project from Denmark, combining the smoky atmosphere of 1930s–1940s blues and jazz noir with the weight of modern doom, sludge and heavy metal.
The debut album, One White Page, was released independently on 4 September 2026 and contains 13 tracks. Across the record, detuned guitars, dark piano, blues phrasing and cinematic arrangements meet the deep, smoky vocal identity of Rouge M.
The project’s roots reach back to the 1990s, when the person behind Rouge Marlowe played bass in a thrash metal band and drew inspiration from Accept, Sepultura, Korn and Judas Priest. Music was later set aside for family life before older songs and unfinished ideas were rediscovered and rebuilt inside Rouge Marlowe’s darker musical world.
Rather than remaining inside one genre, One White Page moves between heavy riffs, noir storytelling and atmospheric melodies. Suggested entry points are “The Presence of My Strife,” “Shadows Behind the Crown” and “Labyrinth Noir.”
