METALDAYS 2013 – A preview

For those who don’t know – which is most of you – I’ve been a pretty avid festivalgoer.  And being from the USA, that isn’t always an easy feat!  I’ve been to Wacken Open Air three times, Summer Breeze, and three of the famed metal cruises.  I’m a bit of a traveler, you could say.  This year, the decision was made to try something different.  A lot of people have been raving about how awesome of a time Metalcamp is (which has now changed names to Metaldays).  With that in mind, and one of the best lineups in Europe to entice yours truly, preparations began to catch this one-of-a-kind festival.

Metaldays is certainly a test of endurance – a seven-day marathon of awesome.  This is certainly one of – if not the longest – metal festival going.  I for one am beyond excited to conquer this beast!

The location is also one of the main attractions, of which has made this festival famous.  Located on a beautiful beach in the Alps, the scenery is just gorgeous.  You can’t get much better than that!

Needless to say, this dude is going to be one busy bee!
