Following the triumphant success of their debut album ‘Fear the Destroyer’ in 2021, Norwegian Black Metal band Black/Cell continue to channel their powerful sound that pays homage to Norse mythology.
Not one for the faint-hearted, their latest single ‘Bloodless Gods’ features their signature raucous riffs, guttural vocals, and explosive instrumentation, making for a listening experience that is equally as brutal as it is epic. Above all, it more than lives up to Black/Cell’s tremoring reputation that they’ve been able to forge in such a short period of time.
“Flicking the switch in 2021 to explode from one of the darkest moments in human history, Black/Cell have been releasing staggering music which has injected new vitality into the metal scene”
Premiering on February 25th, 2022, ‘Bloodless Gods’ pays homage to the sound made famous by its Scandanavian forefathers, while incorporating their own unique vigour that has become synonymous with Black/Cell. Bloodless God was mixed by Bjørn Hagen and mastered by Tony Lindgren (with artwork credits going to Roger Johansen).
