INSTIGATOR – Bad Future EP

Do you like John Carpenter’s 80’s horror/sci-fi movies? Do you remember that kind of early thrash that based itself around such staples, with each song forming a nightmarish narrative about mutants/alien insemination/robot v human wars? Does dirty retro-style d-beat thrash float your boat? If your answer to these questions was yes, then you will find much to love here – from the dodgy movie dialogue samples used for the intros to the speed metal riffing.

The song-writing approach is pretty simple and straightforward but effective too. I can’t wait to see a full-length from these guys and hope they keep their foot on the gas and make it back to Junktown before nightfall.
