THE EYES OF A TRAITOR – Breathless

Labelled as Metalcore all over the web, I would rather say that TEOAT is just as close to hardcore with a lot of screamo tendencies on the vocal front. Nevertheless, I kind of grew to like this one. The riffing is progressive and highly technical. It is al performed like clockwork and the production is as good as it gets. The rhythm section really kicks ass, and I mention this because the music is based on rhythmical sensibilities rather than melodic. Still, if you give it some time the melodies seems to appear amidst all the technical riffing and aggressive attitude. This should definitely apply to fans of everything from Trivium and All That Remains  to Periphery and Meshugga.
