OCTOTANKER – to release new album in October

Octotanker is a five-piece band of experienced musicians from Wrocław, Poland, formerly known as Prąd. Prąd is gone. Instead, Octotanker invites you to step aboard their cybernetic spaceship to surf an oil-polluted ocean and fly through the gloomy depths of the cosmos.
Distortion, rust and psychedelia, drifting between the Bermuda Triangle and the Rings of Saturn. A comic-book world of interstellar tankers with tentacles sprouting from their steel hulls. Emptiness. Heaviness. A living pulse.

Octotanker’s debut album, Voidhopper, blends doom, stoner, post-punk, and grunge. The nine-track release, available on vinyl, CD, and streaming platforms, is promoted by the title single “Voidhopper,” accompanied by a music video shot in a century-old astronomical observatory.
The musical and lyrical concept of the album extends into a 42-page comic book, forming a shared, multi-dimensional narrative.
