Review by Raynier Swiegers

Now this is Death Metal! With top-notch production, exceptional sound quality, striking artwork, and outstanding musicianship, this EP is a true masterpiece. The classical guitar intro and outro are simply brilliant – a perfect way to kick off a blistering Death Metal EP. The vocals, like the rest of the instruments, offer a thrilling mix, from low to ultra-low growls. The dual vocals are delivered with incredible precision and never feel repetitive or tiresome; they’re not afraid to accelerate to the extreme either!

If you want to hear something faster than fast, check out the drums! Executed with perfect timing, they blend seamlessly with the synchronised bass to form a solid foundation for all the tracks. The riffs shift from hyperdrive to mid-paced in a flash, while the leads are fresh, inventive, and hook you in without overpowering. My favourite track is ‘Cremation Station,’ yet this entire EP is simply brilliant.

Well done The Fallen Prophets!

1. Beneath The Veil Of Flesh

2. Primordial Instinct

3. The Wretched Offering

5. Cremation Station (Bonus Track)
