Chicago, IL group the Last Vegas prefer a mix of classic hard rock and garage oriented influences on their latest studio record "Eat Me". Chad Cherry’s sneering, snarling melodies wrap around music that has the spunk and spirit of Aerosmith, early Cheap Trick, and a bit of that mid-western garage influence from the 1960’s – while honing in on some glam/sleaze feel of possibly the current Scandinavian brigade.
Highlights include the slow churning, cackling "Hot Fudge", Alice Cooper-like "Bloodthirsty" with talk box guitar effects and punk-infused "To Be Treated". 11 songs in a tight 41-minute package, the Last Vegas will make you sweat, and that’s ideal for their type of energetic hard rock to appeal to the broadest range of followers.
