Hailing from North Carolina, Abhorrent Deformity is a quartet intent on delivering rip your face off death metal for their debut album "Entity of Malevolence". Gurgling growls, intense blasting sections with mid-tempo reprieves as well as some twisted, sick riffs of the maniacal kind carry this 10 song, 34-minute effort. Expect massive carnage in the pit for "Manifested Filth", while the bass rumblings for David Wright soothe the muted axe leanings and blasting maneuvers to make "Enshrined in Putrid Decay" a possible audience favorite.
Aural visions of Broken Hope, Disgorge, and Suffocation come up most often for reference’s sake as this is groovy enough to amass a wide swath of death metal hordes. Just what the doctor ordered.
