VIOLENT REACTION – Marching On

UK act Violent Reaction play hardcore punk as if it were 1992. At times Minor Threat are referenced (and the band are straight edge too), but there is also an element of Oi and fans of the UK scene will find elements of many of the classic British bands here too.

Production is spot on, the songs all have their moment and the overall approach and direction is one too few bands take successfully these days – short songs with plenty of aggression but without losing sight of the melodies and choruses. Vocals are great, the drumming is spot on and the guitars have an excellent retro jangle.

Let’s hope the guys continue in this vein and with this level of quality. They will easily become the centre of UKHC…
