TOXICROSE – ToxicRose

The sleaze metal/ melodic hard rock brigade continues to stream from Scandinavian lands with this new band ToxicRose. Stockholm, Sweden is the hometown of the quartet, featuring Gemini Five guitarist Tom, two ex-Lipstixx ‘n’ Bulletz members drummer Michael and vocalist Andy, along with ex-Sexydeath bassist Goran. Expect a five song self-titled EP with larger than life choruses, a modest amount of keyboard accompaniment and chord/riff structures streamlined for easy accessible headbanging. "A Song for the Weak" and "Follow Me" take the best of H.E.A.T., Crashdiet, and Tom’s work in Gemini Five to make this highly necessary for fans of those bands.
Nothing new here folks, but once again the execution is outstanding- ToxicRose keep hope alive for a sleaze metal revival that will bring the fun times back to the world.
