SCAR OF THE SUN – A Series Of Unfortunate Concurrencies

At first listen I was excited by this album, but as has been proven countless times, immediately catchy stuff tends to have longevity equivalent of a firefly’s life expectancy. It is all nice and pretty. A well produced handful of derivative, forgettable and cute melodies. It is by all means accessible, and fans of later Paradise Lost or To Die For might get a kick out of it, but my interest wasn’t kept up for more than an evening’s worth.
