First of all, the fact that your album is mixed and mastered by the same man who mixes and masters babymetal is NOT a selling point. Just saying…

Before I continue my complaining, lets introduce the band; Gyze is a Japanese melodic death metal act, best described as a mix between Children Of Bodom and Dragonforce. So, now that I lost 90% of the readers, I can continue my complaining in peace. What in the world happened to the sound? Its claustrophopic as hell, I have played the album in my car, in my living room, and also on my laptop. And… it sounds like shit no matter what I do. And no, I dont just have the files, I have the actual cd. Anything positive? Sure, the guys can play the shirt of any man any day, its technical and sometimes catchy, but oh so familiar and, whats the saying,  been there done that, you know what I mean. Next please!
