Tracing back their history to the first death metal roots in the late 1980’s, Eternal Solstice hail from the Netherlands and release their fourth studio album "Remnants of Immortality" – their first in 18 years. No matter – high quality European death metal is on display, the type that put Dismember and Grave on the worldwide map. Drummer Mischa Hak and vocalist/guitarist Ramon Soeterbroek remain from those early days – gaining newcomers over the past year with bassist Tim and drummer Ardy de Jong.
Death growls that are clearer discernible, lead breaks that have a purpose amidst the dive bomb / whammy bar accents, and 9 songs that roar with energy yet contain the catchy hooks in their riffs and tempos to make the underground masses proud – that’s what you’ll get on "Force Fed Suicide", "Bleed for Me", and others. Old school death that Eternal Solstice proves still has an audience and presence in today’s market place.
