Austrian hard rock act from the 80’s who reunite after a 14 year break from the scene. This third album Moneyshot showcases Speed Limit’s ability to produce catchy hard rock riffs with smooth AOR vocals and radio-friendly choruses that lock into every auditory nerve for days. Guitarists Joe Eder and Chris Angerer anchor songs like “Lost & Found” and “Don’t Fear The Dark Lanes” with a steady stream of addictive rhythms and flavorful solos, and vocalist Steven Hogger has one of those comfortable bluesy tones like the classic 70’s meets early 80’s template.
Similar in vein to Gotthard meets Rainbow, Speed Limit are a good change of pace if you want something before a night on the town.
