WE KILL COWBOYS – new EP in December

Back From The Dead marks a fierce new chapter for Cape Town’s We Kill Cowboys — a five-piece rock outfit known for their explosive blend of punk rock, grunge, and post-hardcore. Formed by tattoo artist and singer-songwriter Alex Muller, the band has carved out a name for themselves through their raw, high-energy sound and emotionally charged performances.

Fronted by Alex, who now takes on vocals full-time, Back From The Dead sees the band channelling their
collective energy into a heavier, more focused direction. Her gritty, passionate delivery cuts through the
chaos, bringing to life stories steeped in anti-establishment grit and personal defiance.

The addition of Floris Le Roux (long-time friend and producer) as a second guitarist has elevated the
band’s sound, creating a layered intensity that amplifies their musical impact. His technical precision
and melodic sensibility merge seamlessly with Mornay’s jagged, expressive riffs, while Andrew’s
pounding drums and Miggs’ thick, fuzzy basslines form a rhythm section that shakes the ground
beneath.

True to their ethos, We Kill Cowboys continue to defy convention and expectation. Their music is
visceral, unfiltered, and deeply human — a reflection of the chaos and beauty that fuels the
underground.

With Back From The Dead, the band roars back with renewed purpose — louder, bolder, and
