Introduce your band, and Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?
Hi, I’m Eric Gynan Co-founder of the bands Leaving Eden & Silver Springs Fleetwood Mac Tribute

Eric Gynan Guitar/Vocals.
We’ve released School’s Out originally by Alice Cooper, Rendition By Leaving Eden Official Music Video:
t’s a great take on an old song with a female lead vocal. A little more heavier than the original and I think folks will love it!
What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?
That’s a loaded question, so many obstacles but probably keeping a group of people together for a long period of time. Everyone has their own goals, views, feelings and it’s important to respect everyone’s integrity.
When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?
We’ve been in the game a long, long time, never giving up, quitting, always remaining on the scene. We’ve had a lot of help which we are always grateful. So since day one really right out of the gate when our first show was packed, we knew we had something.
How does a song typically come together for you?
For me writing comes pretty easily. I just get myself in a state of mind and listen to the universe. It all comes pretty simply. Sometimes it even comes produced and finished in my Minds Eye and my job is to get that into reality. Alyssa our keyboardist also writes and pretty much she functions the same way. Very creative.
How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader? What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?
I always say that we have an eclectic array of musical genres, never sticking to one particular style of music. With Leaving Eden, you’ll find heavy, metal, rock, pop, punk, acoustic and folk and even some dance. If I could, I’ll tell you a quick story without naming any names. We went to this recording studio in New England, and it was beautiful. A lot of land way out in the middle of nowhere, and we were meeting with the woman who ran the studio. Keeping in mind that Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, 7dust, The band Boston all recorded there, She drew a box on the whiteboard and said you guys are here, here, and here pointing outside the box and she said you really need to be here, pointing to inside the box. I get it they want a particular style so that they can promote it and not be all over the place, but I asked her, are you saying we need to be in that box and she said well yes I am and I said thank you very much and I got up and I walked out because of course nobody’s going to put us in a box. I think it’s so important to not have anybody pull your strings. We’ve had people try believe me, but they never succeeded. Anyways, there’s a lot of energy when you come to see Leaving Eden. We love to share that energy everywhere we go.
How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?
One of my good friends is Johhny K. (Disturbed) and we’ve been working together for years so I think before that the sound has only gotten extremely better as far as our albums go. We’ve got 13 or 14 albums out there right now. Sure, we are influenced by new artists and we also have songs that were written years ago, but never released just because there’s not enough time. Whenever we release an album I always take some of those songs so that I can eventually release all of them. These days however what has changed I believe is labels wanting to release singles instead of full albums. That’s fine, but it’s just more time consuming as far as wanting to release many songs in one’s musical career.
Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why and How excited are you for 2025, and what can fans expect from you?
We will continue writing, recording and touring, breaking into new and exciting territories as we forge ahead. I would love to go to Asia, Ireland, Scotland, maybe Italy.
