Norways crossover metal machine Manifest, are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first album HALF PAST VIOLENCE with a special edition vinyl & digital release!
Originally released on June 13, 2005, the album marked the band’s explosive entry into the metal
scene, blending death and thrash metal with unparalleled intensity.

Following it`s release, the record received great reviews from all significant metal magazines. Metal
Hammer Germany hailed the album as a “deadly cocktail of death and thrash”, the band did
interviews from across the globe and the music video for Dead End Spiral was fronted on national TV.
Half Past Violence was the album that brought Manifest to Wacken Open Air 2005 and lots of other
festivals. The band also toured with Entombed, in addition to immense live activity on their own.
The 20th anniversary edition of the album, has been remastered by original producer Rune Stavnesli.
The production has had a major lift from the original release, and hits you like a freight train through
the skull all the way from the opening riffs of Slay the Dove, to the thunderous conclusion of Mess-
age to Death-age.
The vinyl edition also features previously unseen cover artwork on the inner sleeve. Created by
Frediablo in 2004, this artwork was originally intended for the front cover but was voted down at the
time. It resurfaced while sorting through old material for the anniversary release.
A true extreme metal classic, first time on vinyl. This album will shake your ground!
