FUNERAL have released their 8th album “Gospel of Bones” october 18 on French label Season of Mist.
They continue to delve into grief and despair. The album deals with the pain and sorrow that follows loss and raises profound questions of that matter.
This time around incorporating violin, harding fiddle,beautifully performed by Sareeta, acoustic guitars and baritone opera vocals from singer Eirik Krokfjord.
Guest singer Espen Ingierd (from cult doom/death/experimental band Beyond Dawn, Oslo) also performs on 2 tracks.

Support this evening is the newly formed band Miserate, consisting of members from Norwegian bands The Crest, To Cast a Shadow, Shraphead and Syrach. Miserate released their debut 4 track EP, “A Ritual of Doom” 5th of April 2024. Massive and classic Doom Metal. Ethereal and emotive guitars with vile rasping vocals. Nordic bleakness, Crafted by the five-member ensemble, the journey of this EP captures the essence of the classic Doom Metal scene of the 90´s
