The Flying Norsemen is a band with deep roots in Trøndelag, Norway. Consisting of three original members from Arabs In Aspic and produced by Jostein Smeby, it’s hard not to hear some of the old Arabs-sound on this record.
The music draws inspiration from 1970s rock, with elements of stoner, doom, and psychedelia. Woven throughout are vocal harmonies and melodic gems that sparkle like diamonds in the rough. The album takes the listener on a sonic journey, a hazy exploration of the depths of emotion and consciousness.
