ANDY GILLION – announces upcoming album

“Exilium” is the 3rd solo album by Andy Gillion (ex song-writer/lead guitarist for Finnish melodeath band, “Mors Principium Est” – 2011-2020). It is set to be self-released – Gillion Records – on October 11th.

The album comprises the symphonic melodeath sound Andy cultivated in “Mors Principium Est” with a progressive twist, and the first to feature both harsh and clean vocals from Andy himself. The record also features guest appearances from Brittney Slayes of “Unleash the Archers” with drums performed throughout by Dave Haley of “Psycroptic”.

The album was co-mixed and mastered by multi-Grammy award winning engineer, Thomas “Plec” Johansson.

“Exilium” is an emotional and fearless masterpiece, bursting with rapturous virtuoso guitar-work, breakneck drumming, and gut-wrenching melodies throughout.

A concept album from start to finish, the story of an exiled knight is told through a musical journey of melodic death metal, to the immersive backdrop of a fascinating symphony, narrated with a ferocious debut vocal performance that delivers to the audience a truly captivating experience.
