VEGA – Battlelines

The previous full-length effort by these awesome British rockers was good albeit slightly uneven to these ears, but this crisp sounding new opus by the quintet is a totally different story. In short, Battlelines is Vega doing what they do best, meaning there is an abundance of tasty hooks, phenomenal melodies, juicy riffs, and crunchy choruses everywhere you turn your head. The material sounds fresh and vibrant not to mention that the band as a whole displays a sense of confidence and charisma that is outright invigorating somehow. Incredibly well-produced and catchy through and through? You can tick those two boxes too. Superfluous tracks or half-baked ideas? Nope.

Battlelines is a classy offering in every sense of the word and a stellar output that is bound to thrill and excite its fans and listeners, which basically just means that this beauty is a must-have for all you devotees of hard rock and that it will be very exciting to hear their new tunes in a live setting.
