DATADYR – Keymaster

A sparkling and brand-new digital EP by the immensely talented Datadyr is a most welcome thing to these ears, and those of you who enjoy the jazzier aspects of prog rock, blues, and Americana will undoubtedly find something worth celebrating and cherishing here.

Bursting with energy and filled to the brim with atmosphere, these four compositions (all of which are leftovers from the Woolgathering sessions), are playful, creative, and utterly passionate affairs with ‘Tamagotchi Dream’ and ‘Onkel Amerika’ being the darkest and most captivating musical excursions of them.

With its seductively organic and vibrant sound, this output is a fabulous slice of inventive, intriguing, and driven jazz with melancholy Americana undertones to it that rewards patience on the part of the listener and deserves numerous streams. Eminent stuff.
