LEFUTRAY – Oath

The third full-length from Chile’s Lefutray, "Oath" is an 11 song record that penetrates in a modern thrash with groove manner. Relentless in terms of the drumming and down-tuned guitar elements, songs like "The World Infected" and "Spit On Your Words" give off a lot of older Sepultura and Testament passion plus Teutonic bite, if thrown into a more caustic, raw blender. Militant barking on the vocal front keeps the echoing riff swirl churning throughout, sure to excite and delight the thrash hordes.
South American bands seem to be gathering a lot of attention given proper access chances through the internet equalizing the promotional playing field. Lefutray are a quintet that know their style, write killer hooks and can fluctuate between the melodic aspects and being downright heavy when need be. "Oath" bashes from start to end, and will resonate to those who desire a more abrasive juggernaut of thrash that still keeps groove in mind.
