BAT – Primitive Age & Cruel Discipline

US trio Bat rules the world. Old school heavy/speed metal with no bullshit. Their brand of true metal is just devastating on the ears on both their 2013 demo and 2015 EP "Cruel Discipline" that sadly only contains two songs.
The vocal is 1984 and the production is crude and lo-fi, just the way it should be.
The tempo is of course full speed and the riffing is all over the place with some of nice focus on the bass in the mix..
Bat manages to create something unique and true in this era of overproduced metal with no soul or genuine feeling. If you enjoy Midnight, Bat is worth checking out.
