Sonic Station is a Swedish AOR band on their second album "Next Stop" – changing things up from a project oriented outfit to more of a solid band entity. Composer/producer/ guitarist Alexander Kronbrink has a love of Westcoast and US AOR, as these 11 songs have a lot in common with Giant, early Richard Marx, and 80’s period Toto. The bright keyboards of Jonathan Fritzén and the expressive vocal prowess from female singer Marika Willstedt and male singer Johan Boding makes material such as "Brighter After Dark", the sultry mid-tempo "Stopped Beating", and stripped down light jazz-like ballad "Broken Man" effective, catchy, and endearing.
Sonic Station takes a sound infamous of 1984-1990 and carries it forward for 2014. "Next Stop" – scooping up many AOR record collections around the globe.
