CORPSESSED – Abysmal Thresholds

The metal year 2014 has just begun but allready we have an contender for "best album of the year". Corpsessed come crushing out of the gate with their debut on Dark Descent Rec "Abysmal Thresholds", a leathal dose of death metal that took me really by surprise.

These finns really get down to business and never let go during 10 tracks of pure necro ridden (with a lot of disease), pure and relentless death metal.

The guitars are so crushing heavy that I had to check the audio settings to make sure something was´nt wrong. The souns is just amazing and the vocal delivered on top just makes "Abysmal Thresholds" a true gem in the jungle of Incantation worshippers.

The dark atmosphere goes for the jugular and after two rounds in a row I had to take a break from the setting of doom that clouded my mind with evilness.

I hope I can sleep tonight, if not I know who´s fault it is..
