DRAUGMAR – Ein Wintermärchen

"Ein Wintermärchen" represents what I feel to be one of the most pointless forms of extreme music: ambient symphonic Black Metal. I really can’t see the appeal of three quarters of an hour of rising and falling keyboard chords, so maybe that means I’m not the most qualified to review this one. Perhaps if I ever open a Black Metal Massage and Therapy Centre I might go and dig this one out, but apart from that, I don’t think I’ll ever need to hear it again. Perhaps I could use the pictures of snow-clad pines to decorate the waiting room…
